Mathematics is an essential tool for life that builds up resilience, determination and tenacity to succeed in life. At Billy Ingram Maths Tuition I will help with critical thinking skills and begin to fill the gaps in your maths knowledge.

Schools Lack of Time

Teachers have on average 24 to 30 students in a class for an hour, some only fifty minutes. So ask yourself this, how many minutes does your child receive from an overworked teacher at their school? Well here is the maths: with 25 students in a class for one hour that equates to approximately 1.5 minutes. However, in an ideal class all the students will arrive on time, the register is completed with no interruptions, the lesson is taught on time for about 15 minutes, there is no behaviour problem with the class, and no student requires more than 1.5 minutes of the teachers time. If a teacher could clone themselves and give every child a clone then all childern in the class would be top. One big issuse is that children need to be listened to by a teacher but many childern just don't get that chance.
